George went missing on 13th April 2008, and his owner had virtually given up hope of ever seeing him again, but he is now back home!!
His owner sent us the story........
We had a call last Monday, to say that he'd been popping in and out of their kitchen window since April ! They'd seen my adverts in the paper, and then went online, and saw the photos and the adverts I'd put on your web site !!! This convinced them that they'd got my George! They said they'd have felt guilty keeping him, knowing how much effort I had put in to finding him.
1,400 leaflets through some very vicious letterboxes, posters on lamp posts, posters in shops, trapsing round streets endlessly calling his name - then to find that I'd been wandering around the wrong end of Splott - he was technically found in Roath.
I had really giving up ever finding him, and I am so grateful to have him back .. now I have to worry about him staying!!!
